"I let you go because I love you enough to set you free."
Welcome to Meant To Be—a heartfelt tribute to the love stories that have captured my imagination across countless fictional worlds. Whether canon or brought to life through headcanons, each OTP featured here holds a special place in my heart. This project is a celebration of connection, chemistry, and the belief that some pairs are simply destined to find each other—no matter the universe ❦.
About 'Meant To Be'
This project is strongly inspired by Ainna's outstanding Wall of Ships and serves as a visual showcase of my favorite OTPs collected over the years from various fictional universes. I had always wanted to create something similar but lacked the motivation—until I came across Ainna's work. Her project sparked the inspiration I needed to finally bring my own version to life ♥.
The Name: Whenever I become invested in a fictional couple, it's usually driven by a strong sense that they belong together—that they were always meant to end up with one another, whether they actually did or not. I recognize that this is shaped by my personal interpretation, and others may see it differently, but I believe there's often an underlying "meant to be" quality that resonates with many of us when it comes to certain ships. With that in mind, I felt this title was a perfect fit for the project. To me, it captures the essence of what these couples represent: a connection that felt inevitable from the very beginning.
Shipping Wall
The following is a collection of my forever OTPs. By clicking on any of the pairings, a short—or in some cases, very detailed written—description will appear. If there's an existing fanlisting for a couple, you'll find a link included in their section as well.

This layout features an amazing artwork of Mark and Addison [Grey's Anatomy], generously created and gifted to me by my talented friend Ary ❧ (used with permission). Additionally, design elements include brushes from Aramisdream and patterns from Designfreaks. The animated gradient background was created with the help of resources and techniques shared by CSS Tricks. Additionally, the grid layout and modal pop-ups were designed and inspired by techniques from CSS Tricks and W3Schools. As previously mentioned, the overall project continues to draw inspiration from Ainna's Wall of Ships.
